BADMINTON EQUIPMENT
Over recent years the game of badminton has seen a resurgence in its popularity and it is now a game that is enjoyed by many people of all ages and abilities. One of the reasons for its popularity is that it is a game which keeps you fit and at the same time is not a physical contact sport, so there is no need for any protective clothing of any sort. Perhaps the best know piece of badminton equipment is the shuttlecock, sometimes also known as the shuttle or bird, while it doesn't really matter what it is called, the shuttlecock is badminton's equivalent to a tennis ball. The bird has a small ball which is located at the front of it, this is to enable the bird to have speed. To the rear of the bird are the feathers, this helps give it a floating motion when it is struck high up into the air.
