Rounders is a game that has its origins in the UK and is most definitely an English game; it has been played since Tudor times and basically consists of two opposing sides that take turns in batting and fielding. More often than not it is now a game that is almost exclusively played by girls and women certainly at competition level, but you can still see on sunny days in the park families playing this recreational game.
